Wilson P Tanner Attorney

Wilson P. Tanner III, PLC
A graduate of the University of Michigan, Wilson received his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University College of Law in 1999 and is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. His practice focuses on criminal law, civil litigation, mediation, and family law. Attorney Tanner is fluent in Spanish.

Elizabeth Janovic Attorney

Elizabeth V. Janovic, Esq.
Elizabeth received her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. Before joining Wilson P. Tanner III, PLC, Elizabeth worked as an associate attorney at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP in New York City where her practice focused primarily on the defense of physicians, hospitals, and long-term care providers involved in medical malpractice litigation. Prior to KBR, Elizabeth worked as assistant general counsel at Hino Motors Manufacturing U.S.A., a Toyota Group Company, and then as an in-house legal consultant for the New York based Internet company, Knovel. Elizabeth’s current practice focuses on business litigation, mediation, family law, and criminal defense.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth served in the U.S. Army 428th Military Police Company and as a cadet in the University of Notre Dame Army ROTC. She studied business, marketing, and secondary education at Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. During her time at Saint Mary’s, Elizabeth lived and studied in Rome, Italy, taught high school business courses, and worked for the University of Notre Dame. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in business and a secondary education teaching license from Saint Mary’s.
During law school, Elizabeth served as an executive board member on the MSU College of Law Entertainment and Sports Law Journal, and as president of the MSU College of Law Student Bar Association. She completed a State of Michigan court mediation training program, and worked as a mediator, law clerk, and lab assistant. Elizabeth also had the opportunity to intern for United States Senator Carl Levin.
